Parts of a Letter

I don't know about you, but there are many times during the year that my students are asked to make a card.  During the Christmas season I felt like that was all we were doing.  So, I needed a very important mini lesson on the subject of writing letters. 

I created this anchor chart to help them remember what their letter should look like.  

This visual helped my students a lot!  I had many students that were not indenting or skipping a line when they started writing the body of the letter.   I hope you can use this in your classroom! How do you teach letter writing?
