April Bulletin Board

April is here!  It snuck up on me super quick-I was not ready to put up a new bulletin board.  So, it took me some time to get it together.  However, we completed our first week of Jungle! I love this unit-we learn so much about different jungle animals!  We learned about five different animals this week!

Our bulletin board is a Jungle theme!  It highlights all five animals we learned about.  If you want to learn more-check out my Jungle post!

March Bulletin Board

For March I had my students make pots of gold for their bulletin board project.  They loved it!  The students practiced finding how many more gold coins they would need to make 10 gold coins in all. This is one of the kindergarten common core standards. Many students struggled, but when we used ten frames it made it easier for them!  Check them out!  Plus we added glitter to our conks and glitter makes everything better!

Bulletin Board

The hallway theme this month was Love is in the Air!  The students practiced writing letters to someone they love and stated why they loved them.  This was great practice!
